Reviews reflect individual customer opinions and experiences. They do not guarantee specific coverage, pricing, service timing, or claim outcomes.
A Medicare card tells us when your coverage starts. It does not tell us which plan includes your cardiologist or what your prescriptions will cost. Those are the questions we work through before you enroll.
Our agency is based in Wesley Chapel, and we work with clients across Florida by phone, video call and WhatsApp. You don’t need to drive to an office. We start with your current coverage and the care you use, then explain the Medicare Advantage and Part D choices available through our agency.
What a Medicare agent does for you
A review with us starts with the care you use:
- We confirm your Medicare start dates, your county and any other coverage you have, such as a job, retiree or VA plan.
- You send us your doctors, with office locations, and the medications you take.
- We check them against the Medicare Advantage and Part D plans available through our agency: network, drug costs, pharmacy rules, hospital costs and the plan’s yearly limit on medical costs. Extra benefits come last.
- We walk you through the plans that fit and what you give up with each one, by phone or video. You decide. You don’t have to change plans.
- If you enroll, we help with the application. Afterward, we help with billing questions, plan documents, online accounts and appeal notices. The insurer makes coverage and appeal decisions.
Agent vs calling 1-800-MEDICARE or a SHIP counselor
Medicare.gov and 1-800-MEDICARE provide official program information and plan comparison resources. Florida SHINE is the state's SHIP program and offers free, unbiased Medicare counseling. An insurance agent discusses products the agent is authorized to offer.
These resources serve different purposes. Use Medicare or Social Security for questions about your federal enrollment record, and your plan for a binding explanation of its benefits. We can help identify the right next contact.
What to have ready: Medicare card, doctors, medications
Have your Medicare card and start dates available, along with your address, current plan and any employer, retiree or VA coverage. List doctors by name and office location. Include specialists, hospitals and treatment facilities you want to keep.
For medications, give the name, strength, how often you take it and your pharmacy. Tell us which prescriptions you actually still use. Before you send Medicare numbers or medical records, ask us for a secure way to share them.
Annual plan review every fall
Read the Annual Notice of Change when it arrives. A familiar plan name can still have a different formulary, network, premium or copay next year. Compare the upcoming year's documents with the services you expect to use.
Medicare's annual fall enrollment runs October 15 to December 7, with changes generally effective January 1. If you are already in a Medicare Advantage plan, you can also make certain changes from January 1 to March 31. If you are new to Medicare, your first chance to sign up is a 7-month window that starts 3 months before you turn 65 and ends 3 months after the month you turn 65 (medicare.gov: when Medicare coverage starts). A yearly review does not mean you must change plans.
Call or message us about Medicare
Call or text 813-302-7151, send a WhatsApp message to the same number, or use the form on this page. We are available Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm, and set up a phone or video review at a time that works for you. Tell us whether you are new to Medicare, reviewing a renewal or responding to a coverage change so we can prepare for the right conversation.
You can also compare options directly at Medicare.gov. We are an independent insurance agency, not Medicare or a government office, and our review covers the products available through the agency.
Official resources: medicare.gov: joining a plan; Florida SHINE: Medicare counseling.
We do not offer every plan available in your area. For information on all of your options, please contact Medicare.gov, call 1-800-MEDICARE, or contact your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP).
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a Medicare broker?
No. You can enroll through Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE or a plan directly, and Florida SHINE offers independent counseling. A broker helps organize the comparison and the enrollment steps.
Is it better to go through a broker for Medicare Advantage plans?
It can be, if you want one person to compare plans for you and keep helping after you enroll. Ask which plans the broker represents before you decide.
How much does it cost to use a Medicare broker?
Nothing. We do not charge a fee for our help. We compare plans for you, and the insurance company pays us a commission when you enroll, so your premium is the same as if you enrolled on your own. Your plan premium and medical costs are a separate question.
Who is the best person to talk to about Medicare plans?
It depends on the question. Talk to Medicare or Florida SHINE for official or independent counseling, a licensed agent for the plans that agent offers, and the insurer for decisions about your own coverage.
Can a broker help after I enroll?
Yes. We keep helping after enrollment with plan service, documents, billing questions and appeal steps.
Do you represent every Medicare plan?
No. We don’t represent every Medicare plan in Florida. Medicare.gov lists all the plans available where you live.
This guide is general information, not legal, tax or medical advice. Your plan documents, including the Summary of Benefits and Evidence of Coverage, control what is covered and what you pay.
