Reviews reflect individual customer opinions and experiences. They do not guarantee specific coverage, pricing, service timing, or claim outcomes.

Our office is in Wesley Chapel, in the Tampa Bay area. We work with clients across Florida by phone, text and video, including many families in Miami-Dade.

A Miami plan search can look simple until you check the details: one specialist belongs to a different medical group, a prescription needs approval first, or a family member qualifies for a different program. The insurer’s name alone doesn’t answer any of those questions.

We help with ACA Marketplace plans, Medicare Advantage and Part D, and standalone dental and vision. Start by telling us which doctors and medicines you need to keep, and whether you are renewing, losing coverage or enrolling for the first time.

Marketplace plans available in Miami

Your plan choices depend on your home ZIP code and county. A relative’s plan in another part of South Florida may not be offered at your address, and the same insurer can sell plans with different doctor networks. HealthCare.gov explains how to compare plans.

If you want help paying for the plan, we review your tax household and the income you expect for the whole year, not just last month. If you work on commission, run a business or have changing hours, tell us, so the estimate is honest. The IRS says there is no repayment cap for tax years after 2025, so if you get more advance credit than you qualify for, you pay back the full difference at tax time. Our ACA income guide explains what goes into the estimate.

Other coverage matters too. A job offer of coverage, Medicare eligibility or a child’s eligibility for a state program can change your options. In a family where people have different immigration statuses, each person can get a different result. Our immigrant coverage guide explains the rules, including changes for 2027. We don’t give immigration legal advice.

Then compare what the plan costs when you use it: specialists, lab work and prescriptions can matter as much as the monthly premium. Outside Open Enrollment, you usually need a Special Enrollment Period, which usually gives you 60 days before or after an event like losing job coverage or moving.

Medicare Advantage plans in Miami

For Medicare, we start with the coverage you have today: Original Medicare with a drug plan, Medicare Advantage, retiree coverage or a Special Needs Plan. Any change should be compared with what you would give up, not just the new plan’s brochure.

Plans are offered by county, and a benefit your neighbor gets may depend on their health or Medicaid status. Extras like a dental allowance, an over-the-counter card or a Part B premium reduction should never replace a check of your doctors, prescriptions and medical costs.

We focus on Medicare Advantage and standalone Part D, including Special Needs Plans for people with certain chronic conditions. We do not sell Medigap. Medicare Plan Finder shows official plan options, and our Medicare explained guide covers the parts of Medicare.

Before you switch, check that the new plan includes your primary care doctor, specialists, hospitals and pharmacy. Joining a new plan usually ends the one you have, especially for drug coverage, so don’t send more than one application.

Key numbers for 2026 and 2027

These federal figures are the same in Miami as anywhere in Florida. They change every year, and we update this page when the new figures are published.

What it is20262027
Marketplace out-of-pocket maximum, one person$10,600$12,000
Marketplace out-of-pocket maximum, family$21,200$24,000
Medicare Part B standard premium$202.90 a monthNot published yet
Medicare Part B deductible$283 a yearNot published yet
Medicare Part D out-of-pocket cap$2,100$2,400
Highest deductible a Part D plan may have$615$700

The Marketplace out-of-pocket maximum is the most you pay in a year for covered in-network care, not counting premiums. Your plan’s limit can be lower.

Open Enrollment for 2027 Marketplace coverage starts November 1, 2026. Enroll by December 15 for coverage that starts January 1. Check HealthCare.gov for the final end date. With Medicare, a one-month supply of each covered insulin product costs no more than $35, with no deductible.

Checking your local doctors and hospitals

Miami-Dade’s large hospital systems include Jackson Health System and Baptist Health South Florida, along with other hospitals and many independent practices and medical groups. Plans don’t all include the same hospitals, and a hospital being in network doesn’t mean every doctor who works there is. Check your plan’s network for the exact plan, not just the insurer’s name.

Give us each doctor’s full name, specialty and office address, and the medical group if you see them through one. Add the hospital, outpatient center, lab or equipment supplier you use. An office that says it “accepts Medicare” may mean Original Medicare, not every Medicare Advantage plan.

For a planned procedure, ask who will do it and where. The surgeon, facility, anesthesia group and lab may each bill separately. For prescriptions, give us the drug name, dose and pharmacy. See our network guide and drug-tier guide for more.

We never tell you to stop seeing a doctor or change treatment for insurance reasons. Our job is to show you the tradeoffs before you enroll.

How we help in English, Spanish and Arabic

Our team assists in English, Spanish, and Arabic. We explain the deductible, copays, coinsurance and out-of-pocket limit using the care you expect to need. If you take regular prescriptions, that means checking the drug list. If you are expecting a baby, it means checking the obstetrician, the hospital, newborn enrollment and pediatricians.

We stay available after enrollment for billing questions, documents, online access, plan changes when they are allowed and help with a coverage dispute. We compare the plans available through our agency, not every plan in Miami; you can also compare on HealthCare.gov or Medicare.gov and ask us about what you find. Our help does not mean an insurer will pay a claim or approve treatment.

Remote consultation with a Miami household.

Call, text or send your information

Text or WhatsApp 813-302-7151 is usually the fastest way to start. Send your county, current coverage, doctors, medicines and any deadline. For Marketplace help, have your household and yearly income estimate ready. Please keep Medicare and Social Security numbers out of a first message; we’ll set up a safer way to share documents.

Our hours are Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm, and Miami appointments are by phone or video. There is no fee for our help; the insurance company pays us when you enroll. A message does not hold an enrollment deadline open, so reach out before your coverage ends. You can also use our contact page.

Miami-Dade care and counseling resources

Some questions are better answered by a public program or a clinic than by an insurance agency. These are good places to start.

A clinic being listed here doesn’t mean a particular plan includes it. Our agency does not complete general Medicaid or KidCare applications. We can help with applications for Medicare Extra Help and Medicare Savings Programs.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. For information on all of your options, please contact Medicare.gov, call 1-800-MEDICARE, or contact your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP).

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the best health insurance agent in Miami?

The best agent for you is a licensed one who asks about your doctors, prescriptions and household before suggesting a plan. Ask which insurers the agent works with and what help you get after enrollment. No single agent or plan is right for everyone.

Which hospitals are in-network in Miami?

It depends on the exact plan and plan year; there is no single in-network list for Miami. Jackson Health System, Baptist Health South Florida and other hospitals can be in one plan’s network and not another’s. Send us the hospitals and specialists you use and we will check each one.

Do you offer Medicare plans in Miami?

Yes. We help eligible Miami-Dade clients compare the Medicare Advantage and Part D plans available through our agency, including Special Needs Plans where available. For free, unbiased counseling, you can also contact SHINE through the Alliance for Aging.

Can we meet in person?

Usually we meet by phone or video, because our office is in Wesley Chapel, in the Tampa Bay area. If you would like to meet in person, call us first so we can talk about it.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. We also assist in English and Arabic. You can request the language you prefer for the review.
